I do not recommend this hotel at all. I think this hotel does not meet a minimum requirement even for budget travelers. The biggest issue is noise coming from the inside of hotel building. The elevator and doors of other rooms make loud noise, annoying you at midnight. Besides, the dranage of our room was allmost clogged. The location is good. A few minutes walk down to the main station.

Even if it's located at 30 m.from red light district(Very soft and quiet),the hotel doesn't resent from it.The location is central. Breakfast,service and room were very good.Far better and cheaper than hotels in London or Paris of the same category. It's ideal for low-budget!

Reasonable location. Near some Erotica shops but also the Main Train Station. About 15mins walk to main shopping street The Zeil. A couple miutes walk to River where several museums are locatedon the South Bank. Good price as well. I'd recommend this hotel.

We loved staying at the Top Hotel Ambassador Frankfurt. We especially liked the breakfast, the cozy restaurant environment, the cleanliness and service. Its location is also very convenient, since it is so close to the subway station, shops, and the train station. We surely recommend this hotel to any travellers staying in Frankfurt.

The hotel has nothing really special but it is cleaned and is located about 20 minutes walking from the center. The reception was just polite (nothing more) and disappointment came also from the fact there were no parking as it was mentioned in the website.

Was not impressed with the fact that the toilet smelled a bit of urine and that there was only one elevator to service a 7 floor hotel.

The section of the Hotel we stayed in required access to the lift by stairs from the foyer. I can tell you that those stairs are steep and trying for people with arthritus in the knees. The stairs between the floors are just as bad. We did not originally request non smoking rooms (did I miss this when the booking was made?) but the front desk quickly obliged in providing NS rooms.

The hotel was very clean with modern bathroom and facilities. Staff were helpful and spoke good english. Breakfast was a basic continetal breakfast with cereal, breads, meats cheese, tea and coffee but was of high quality. The main parts of Frankfurt including the historical centre were within walking distance of the hotel. A comfortable and enjoyable stay.

A few words about breakfast. The breakfast service was run by russian family of five or six members. Knowing the cultural challenge the Russians and other SEV country citizens meet when trying to reach the free market competition driven quality of service, this family succeeded just fine. Best part of the breakfast was the expierience of The Fawlty Towers - The Sequel. The son of the family was like young John Cleese in the british tv cult serie from the 70's. Like John Cleese, he just don't walk around but run all the time. Very funny. To get the breakfast service improved, some fine tuning could be considered. First, there are too many workers which creates unnecessary traffic in the small room. There's work for only two persons. And second, because John Cleese stays, he could start to use the three languages he manages (which he revealed when he opened his mouth accidentally). Good morning, See you later would be a good start...

The luggages deposit service should consider more security. Instead of customers just walk in and leave their luggages, the hotel management should issue a luggage tab and release the luggage based on the tally of the tabs.

Our stay was pleasant but the in room service was bad. The mini ridge wasn't working and when informed management said it wasn't suppose to be there. There was no tea/coffee or kettle facilities in the room and no air condition....weather was hot when we were there. As for the TV, extra cable programmes would help as all the local programmes were in German. The location, cleanliness, pricing and other services were good.

the average service mark is due to the fact that we have left the room at noon and upon our return in the mid-evening found that no services were rendered. However upon request the linen czange was performed almost immediately. The quality of rooms is not the same for different rooms(within the same price) No smoking rooms (although requested a week in advance) were not available.

Relatively cheap accomodation so didn't expect any facilities. Nice clean hotel in close to the haupt bahnhof.
