The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good, the coffee excellent. It is well located for exploring and transport. It is a little shabby, especially the bathroom but was on the whole excellent value for money. I would certainly consider staying again and would recommend it as a budget hotel.

It is great price, but we got bitten by bedbugs. the room looked very clean, but the apartment is very old and plumbing is old and slow in draining.

The hotel is great. The environment is homely with a collection of books in its small library and free internet access (sharing basis). The staff is English speaking, friendly and very helpful, especially the Madame. You have an ensuite urinal and wash basin but the bathroom is shared on ratio of 3:1. For the price, the breakfast is luxurious and a great way to start the day. Definitely a place I would return to stay anytime.

We were really happy with how nice the staff was - since it was quieter time they upgraded our room for free - which was really appreciated! There was also a really GREAT breakfast which was a wonderful way to start the day. The location was wonderful - easy to get to from the train station and once there easily accessible to museums and all that you want to see and do in Florence.

A reasonable hotel. Close to all the major sites which are all in walking distance as is the train station. A little dated but clean and tidy, only major concern are the stairs going up to the reception area. These are made of marble and there is poor lighting so be careful as easy to slip down, (which is what I did).

This is a fabulous little hotel just off the main drag so it's nice and quiet (but you're still 5 minutes from the Duomo). The idea of sharing a bathroom/shower may not appeal to everyone, but there were no problems using the facilities whenever I needed. Besides, there is a sink and bidet in the bedroom so you can wash up without having to worry if someone is waiting to get in to brush their teeth! The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel, even if they're not on a budget (as I certainly was!).

Room exactly as shown on the pictures. But the toilet and shower were open in the room. Good choice of food at breakfast. We were offered coffee for free when we arrived late at the hotel, which was very nice of the lady at the front. She helped us with our trip planning in Florence. Close proximity to all the attractions a 10 minutes walk to the railway station. A great place to stay at affordable rates, especially if you are on a budget.
