This was a very nice place to stay in Florence if you take the train. Not too far from the station and everyone was helpful. I would certainy recommend this hotal and stay there again on my return trip.

Staff was cordial...but our room on the top (third) floor was very warm, and the air conditioning was barely working. After a few attempts to open windows and let the air run a bit, we were forced to switch to a lower floor and smaller room...not great for three people.

The Venere website is outstanding offering lots of choices; with three type of filtering, i.e., by price, location, and stars. I'd recommend the website unconditionally. Also, the De Rose Palace is a clean and decent hotel. We'd go back to this hotel, but there are probably others offering good value as well!
