We were VERY disappointed ti find that the Derby had moved us to the Colorado (another of their hotels) and were shocked by the poor standard of the accommodation. Derby promised much but delivered little .. the Colorado was a dump .. the was very helpful but the accommodation poor. Derby told us that we were placed in Colorado to help us because bookings were full and hard to be accommodated elsewhere in Florence. From our observation this appeared to be their prtactice .. taking bookings to fill Colorado on the pretense of accommodating pweople at Derby.

This hotel i very well located close to the city center and the railway station. However, be aware that parking is almost impossible in the area. The hotel is mainly used by younger travellers and the noice level very high. In the room beside my room young americans had a party until 3 AM. Excellent terrace on the top of the hotel.

the hotel is aglier than I thought watching the photos, but it is very quiet and well situated. The price was ok according to the quality. But the personal don´t aid us to look for any information. There was an interet point very expensive, and the breakfast was 5 points: acceptable. The worst was seeing the room, with 2 beds not very comfortable, but the rest was very well and economic.

Worlds smallest elevator! Nice hotel for the money and location was excellant. Desk clecks were very helpful.

Everyone was very pleasant and very helpful. Facilities were faírly basic but quite adequate. It was clean and towels were changed daily without it being requested. We would however have liked a kettle in the room. We would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a convenient base only a very short distance from the old part of Florence and not seeking luxury.
