My room was gorgeous, and much more luxurious than I expected. I stayed on the 5th floor, and if you go halfway up the next flight of stairs to the roof, there is an amazing view of the city from the window. Wonderful to watch the sun go down here..brilliant value for money and perfect location. I'd Recommend this hotel very much for single travellers. I've read about the size of the lift being a problem, but it's not that bad, and there's only 5 flights of stairs anyway. Walk you lazy monkeys ..

Charming and quite hotel. The room was confortable and big enough. Climatization a bit ineficient (not cool enough). The shawer is smal but the bathroom is ok. Close to the train and bus station, and the stret marquet. You get to the Dome in 7 minutes waking. Highly recommended.

Florence is full of hotels and pensions. It is like a Disneyland full of choices. This hotel was satisfactory for the price and the desk clerk was helpful with the map and locating major sites. This was one hotel where our bags were actually taken to the room and even though we gave a small tip, it was appreciated. The breakfast room was full but not a problem as there was enough help. Real coffee would have been a plus.

I stayed at the hotel in May 2007 with my wife and daughter. The hotel is ideally located within 5 minutes of the train station. This brings the main attractions within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. After checking into our room I noticed that the bathroom did not have a bath which I needed for my 11 month old daughter. The staff immediately changed the room to a bigger room with bath. Staff in the hotel were very helpful in providing information about attractions, restaurants etc. Overall excellent hotel for the price.

Excellent location, close to railway and walking distance to all the major sites. Hotel staff were helpful. The breakfast was an excellent start to the day. We would reccomend this hotel and would stay there again. The hotel was better than we expected and for the price conscious traveller offered valuefor money.

As a single woman I felt completely safe even though some comments had stated that the location was less desirable - it's an ancient city! The room was not big, but the bed was very comfortable and I had a nice balcony. I will return on my next stay.
