The hotel was further out from the centre than we had realised when booking, but once we figured out where the buses departed from it was not too bad. However, because of the heat it was quite a trek back to the hotel from the main sites. However, was a good hotel in other respects, although the first day when we returned for a siesta at 2.00pm (the temperature outside was 38 degrees) we discovered the room was only being cleaned at 2.00pm (we had been out since 9.30am), and all we wanted was a wash and a lie down and had to wait in the corridor until the room was services. Thankfully this never happened again and the room was always serviced by the time we returned.

Although in the business district the hotel is very well appointed and managed. All fittings and decor are of the highest quality. The only downside is that there is no restaurant on the premises. Breakfast is well provided and bar snacks are available. Good restaurants are in the vicinity and the Cathedral is approx 10 minutes walk with Ponte Vecchio another 10. Hotel is only recently opened.Staff very attentive. Peaceful patio at the rear of the premises. Excellent in all respects.
