We satyed one night. Cleanroom and pleasant staff. Location is very close to the heart of Florence. About a 5-8 minute walk. Close to market and restaurants.

Hotel Monica caters to everyone. We were a group of three young 50 year olds. We saw single people, young couples, and families with children at the hotel.

The placement is very good, the cleanliness of rooms is exellent, the only problem is absense of double rooms for couples, only twin rooms are awailable :-(

It was very close to the train station as stated. The breakfast offering was poor; I think the rolls we were offered on Sunday were from the same batch we ate on Friday. We left an open candy bar on the bedside table and it was covered in tiny ants later that day. The staff was adequate.

Decent hotel but very bad service. None of them speak any english and they were rude. Very limited breakfast but atleast there is something :-). WE took a room with shared bathroom and the shower did not have a curtain. so it was an interesting situation in there.

This hotel represented excellent value for money. We booked a twin room that was basic but clean, and there was a nice patio area outside our room,and also an outdoor patio area by the breakfast room. The breakfast was included in the price. The hotel was also good location wise, just over the road from the station. We satyed at the hotel for five nights.

Unfortunately this hotel was not what we expected from the description on Venere. However, if you are looking for budget accom (difficult to find in Italy) this hotel is fine. Very clean, staff okay but bathroom unbelievably small - you can sit on the toilet and have a shower! Only problem is when you do have a shower the whole bathroom gets saturated. A bit tricky to find as the street numbers don't run in sequence. No lift and we had very heavy suitcases which we had to drag up several flights of stairs.
