The location was right downtown near the Duomo which was fantastic. The room was very small, we did not have hot water one night and we had visitors (mosquitos!) VERY noisy location! Would probably look for a different hotel next time.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Our party used three rooms but our bathroom was the tiniest. A very small shower cubicle so avoid room 35. The cold breakfast (continental) was plentiful. The hotel was close to Il Duomo and within 20 minutes walk to most attractions. Plenty of nearby restaurants. We would certainly stay there again.

Suggest that mattress be replaced in our room---it was very tired, softy and offered no linear support. Included breakfast was good; great location, helpful front staff; amazing use of older building. Fun to imagine the place 200 years ago. Would return...but would check mattresses first.

After a slightly rocky start (room wasn't ready despite checking in mid afternoon)I really appreciated the friendliness of most reception staff. With plenty of notice they organised a great baby-sitter for my son whilst I attended a conference. Slightly frosty breakfast room staff but the buffet selection was good.

Great Hotel!!? Perfectly located, just a short walk from the leather markets and all the ancient city sights. Our room was very clean and large with a huge comfortable bed, even if it was merely two single beds pushed together! Free light breakfast was sparce but more than adequate to fill you up for a mornings sight seeing. Service could have been a tad more smiley, but satisfactory. Highly recomended for the price we received...

Rooms basic but very clean - Very good location - Friendly and polite service - hairdryer, safe and TV not working - Buffet breakfast VERY basic. Ok for short visit.

The room was nice and clean and staff was helpful. Location is very good, only couple of blocks away from the dome and all the major sights were in walking distance. Parking was expensive (26 €/day) and breakfast was pretty poor and food was kept in warm for long times so, for example, milk was warm (so you didn't feel comfortable having cereal for breakfast) and butter had melted (no air conditioning in the breakfast room, only open window and).

My room was overlooking the main street and was very noisy at night with traffic - earplugs essential. Handily placed for the train station and the duomo. Good breakfast, and lovely interior upstairs.

We were not at all happy with this hotel. Our room was so noisy that it disturbed our sleep. We were underneath a set of creaky stairs and it seemed that people walked up and down them all night long! There were bugs squashed all over the ceiling and walls of the room. The sewerage system had some contraption attached that was so noisy that every time you used the bathroom you jumped out of your skin. All but one staff member were indifferent. The breakfast room was not equipped for the amount of people that were staying at the hotel and were often left waiting for a table. Overall a very disappointing hotel.
