When we came to the hotel our room wasn't ready for 2pm (the time of check in). We had to wait 1 hour so we went sightseeing. Hotel Da Verrazzano is easily reached by people travelling by car. It's about 30 minutes walking from the center. A bus stop is nearby so it's also easy to get to the centre by bus. The hotel has its own parking that costs 12 euro for 24h, but we left the car for the next day (extra 3 hours)and didn't have to pay extra money.The public parking nearby the hotel costs 1 euro for 1st hour and 2 euro for every next hour, so it's cheaper and safer to leave a car on the hotel parking. In the neighborhood there are rather no shops and restaurants, so it's better to have a dinner in the centre of Florence. The room didn't look like a room in 3 star hotel but it was clean and quite spacious. Continental breakfast was good. The woman from the reception was very helpful as she explained as how to leave Florence easily and recommended us worthseeing places in Toskany. Thank you! The relationship between price and quality was ok.
