Very close to the main station but triple window glazing means almost no street noise. Double/ twins rooms are smallish but very clean. Service excellent, and breakfast offers a wide choice for 'continental'.

Short walking-distance to Santa Maria Novela railway-station. 15 minutes walk to Duomo. Lighting in the room could be a bit brighter. Due to good isolation, quiet in the room (room to the side). Fine treatment by staff, good breakfast. Good bed and pillow. Safe-locker in room. Clean, renovated bathroom. No internet in room, hotel-pc to be used in reception-area at cost.

We thoroughly enjoyed our staff at the Boccaccio. It was very easy to find from the directions and centrally located for accessing all the beautiful sites in Florence. The staff, in particular, Stefano, was very helpful and offered suggestions for site seeing and restaurants. They never hesitated to talk with us and give directions, including maps and the best ways to get three.

Our first visit to Florence was made easy by the information offered by the staff at check-in: when and where to visit,shop, and when to take a bus. This hotel is an easy walk with baggage from the station, and then an easy walk to all the architectural and art attractions. Great breakfast. Comfortable beds. Opportunity for fresh air. Hotel staff booked music concerts for us which was very helpful.

We stayed in Florence for one week at Hotel Boccaccio in a triple room. We were satisfied with the services provided. The staff were friendly, helpful and competent, speaking several languages. The hotel is near the historical centre of Florence, we walked everywhere. We recommend Boccaccio to everybody, we would return.

We LOVED our stay at Hotel Boccaccio! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Our room had nice, clean hardwood floors. The bathroom was a bit small, but the room overall was larger than many of the other hotel rooms we had stayed in. I would highly recommend this hotel (we already have!)!

This was a nice hotel located within walking distance of most things in the City of Florence. Other sites in the city were a short bus ride away. The staff was extremely helpful and gave us very good recommendations on places to eat and what to be sure to see.

Boccaccio seems to be specialised in tourist clients as Florence is a very touristic destination. It's quite confortable near to the Florence Central Station hotel, small and with good services for a three star hotel. It's near the city centre and employees are kind and polite always ready to help with all kind of questions and services available. Breakfast is also very good.

Our room was beautiful, overlooking the terrace with parquet wood floors and aircon. Lovely bathroom and nicely furnished. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and the breakfast was great. The location of the hotel is a two minute walk from the train station and very close to the Santa Maria Nouvella which is a must see. The hotel was spotless and very clean and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
