The hotel is a bit of a walk away from the city centre, and down some streets with very narrow pavements, not good when you are dragging luggage behind you! The service is good, staff are friendly and if all you want is a bed for the night and easy access to one of the worlds most beautiful cities then the Boboli more than matches the bill.

We have to us the bath room outside of your bed room, but we hadn't been informed in advance when we booked the hotel. No lift available, no one offer help to carry the large luggages up stairs to the room. Service - people at night shift was helpful to check the bus and train time. Price - it may not be worthy to pay at this rate for this location and this facilities

This was our worst hotel experience in all of Europe. The room had no charm, was not clean when we got there, and did not get cleaned adequately any of the four days that we were there. There were smashed mosquitos on the wall, no shades on the reading lamps, no wall paper or pictures on the wall, and the bathroom down the hall was a joke. Any shower longer than five minutes resulted in a flood out into the hallway. The towels provided were more like table-napkins, and the staff was neither polite nor informative. The location, though not horrible, was not as close to Boboli Gardens and the Ponte Vecchio as the website led us to believe, and our room only had a view of a nasty, water-logged, bug-infested (unusable) porch. We would never recommend this hotel to other travelers. We stayed in many other one and two star hotels for the same price or less throughout Europe that were far superior.

Towels were tablecloths and the loo and shower were the same room, same area - so if you showered (no curtain) - the water would go directly into the loo! Bizarre. Needless to say, we didn't!

Good location and helpful staff. The only downside was the size of the room and the bathroom facilities. The bathroom itself was very small without a showercurtain so everything was wet afterwards.

What a terrible experience, bathroom was tiny and digusting, no towels, shower did not work and had to use one in another room room not very clean at all.Squash for breakfast and dry croisants. Better off camping or upgrading! Will not be going back
