I was travelling to Firenze on holiday and traveling alone. Hotel Ester is very centrally located to many of the great attractions of Firenze. Piazza Signoria, Piazza Repubilica, the Uffizzi, the Academia, and many other attractions are very close by. The price was great for what I got. It wasn't airconditioned but the weather was fine and they had a ceiling fan in my room. The bathroom and shower facilities are shared but that wasn't a problem for me. I never even ran into anyone while I was there. It is a little difficult to find because it is tucked inside a building. It does have an elevator.

DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL if you can avoid it!!! Bathroom was black with mould Water pump for the entire floor was in the hallway outside the rooms, uncovered and very noisy. Made sleeping difficult as every time a toilet was flushed or a shower was taken etc... if would come on, at all times of the night and day. Staff arrogant and unhelpful.

It is the worst experience I ever had when booking a hotel by internet, please remove it from Venere's options because it is extremely embarrasing! I did the reservation for me, my wife and my daughter and her husband, we have a very bad experience there...

I come from hong kong This is a terrible experience The location is excellent But..the room feel like your live in 60's The bed too soft ,can make you back pain i live in this hostel for 2 days,they will not change the bed sheet and towels everyday,i ask the keeper to change the towels cause the towels get wets , they said they change every THREE DAYS!!!!!! the toilet is like a dirty dark room

The only good thing I have to say about this hotel is the location. Everything else was horrible. I would never stay here again. The room was dirty- they only change the sheets every 5 days which means you get to sleep in sheets other guests used. The bathroom was horrible and the balcony door to our room wouldn't even lock. There are other hotels in the area with much better quality for the price.
