As described on the webpage, the hotel is a 15 minutes walk to most attractions (Duomo) which made the hotel quiet and out of heavy traffic. This allowed us to relax in the lovely backyard/garden in the evening and to have a peaceful sleep at night. The staff was most helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The reception staff was welcoming and warm as well as the breakfast staff. Fresh/luxurious towels provided daily. Breakfast is simple (yogurt/fruit/cheese/ham/cereal/croissant/rolls/etc). We made this hotel our base in Italy for 6 nights and would have no problem staying there again when we return to Florence. Also, located 2 blocks from a laundromat. It was a quiet oasis in a somewhat hectic trip to Italy.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Located within easy walking distance of markets, Duomo etc. We had 2 small children, the hotel provided small beds at no extra cost.

The hotel was a very nice property in a slightly out of the way residential neighborhood. It was a short walk to everything we needed but it was nice to retreat to a quiet neighborhood in the evenings. There were wonderful restaurants all around and good shopping - both at much lower prices than in the center of things. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, and the rooms comfortable.

The hotel is a little off the beaten path but a very easy taxi ride from the train station. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The night staff does speak mainly italian but was very helpful. The room was very nice and spacious. There is also a small library which has some books about the area.

For our first time in Florence and just coming from a cramped hotel in Rome this was the most spacious room and bathroom we had in Italy. The hotel was a ten minute walk from the train station which was in a real nice area and close to all the sights and sounds of Florence.

Good Hotel location, ten minutes walking you can reach railway station and the center of Firenze, breakfast is simple, our room is little noisy of one air-condition chiller out of our window, but it's ok.

What you see is not what you get but you are definitely getting what you are paying for at this 3 star hotel. The hotel pictures of the rooms look nicer than what they are in reality!!! The rooms were spacious, with lots of light, but poorly cleaned. The staff did not change the sheets or towels every day (you would have to ask them to do so), and the beds were not as comfortable. There were lots of mosquitoes also, so bring bug spray. The staff, however, was very nice and corteous all the time. Breakfast was quite average. We would not go back to this hotel and would prefer to pay a bit more for a nicer hotel closer to the Arno River or the Duomo. The location is good but bare in mind you will have to walk 15 minutes to get to the Duomo. You are also close to the Train Station, 10 minute walk, that was convenient.
