We spent 2 nights in this hotel - the location is great, right on the door step of all main attractions of Edinburgh. The staff were great and the breakfast was nice. Will definetely use this hotel again!Read more Hide
In 2006 when i stayed here, renovations were taking place which did not add to the enjoyment of the stay. The room was small, smelled badly of cigarette smoke and you could hear people in other rooms. I left early. Restaurant however was good.
Staff very friendly and helpful, food fine, location excellent. An old damaged shower door let the side down - had clearly been in this state - for some time. Otherwise good.
We have been visiting the Old Waverley for a number of years and it's ongoing refurbishment is improving its standards. The Hotel staff are very friendly always making us feel welcome
