Bedrooms would benefit from a refurbish. Also we booked and paid for a double room but were given a triple room with 2 single beds pushed together to make a double.

Small but comfortable single room with good facilities. Rather noisy in the corridors around my room during the evening but all went quiet by 11.0pm. Good to have easy parking at the hotel.

ALthough we booked this hotel some 3 months before going to Edinburgh, the staff lost my partners booking and then when they had sorted that out, they sent us off in the wrong direction to our rooms. Breakfast was superb.

Not a bad hotel, but a few quirks. Heating is controlled by the hotel, and on a very warm night could not be turned down. So we had to sleep in a very hot room, quite uncomfortable. Also an unpleasant smell (sewerage?) from time to time in the lounge and dining room. Without a car it could be a bit too far out of the centre for comfort.

The bathroom facilities were somewhat lacking, insufficient toiletries. Bedding only just fitted the bed. Staff were accommodating and arranged early breakfasts prior to Marathon.

It is advertised as being close to the airport, yet it is a 13 GBP taxi fare away. The hotel told us it shouldn't be over 5 GBP or 6 GBP.

A warm, friendly hotel. Good parking facilities. Excellent breakfast. Excellent bus service a short walk from the hotel taking you to the city centre.

I HAVE SELECTED POOR FOR CLEANLINESS BECAUSE THE BATHROOMS BADLY NEED REFURBISHMENT WITH EXTRAXTORS TO CONTROL MOULD BUILD UP SERVICE ONLY AVERAGE AS NEITHER THE GENERAL MANAGER NOR THE RECEPTIONIST KNEW WHAT ARRANGEMENTS THERE WERE FOR EARLY BREAKFAST SATURDAY NIGHT THERE WAS NO FACILITY FOR DINING AS THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED FOR A WEDDING. NO PROBLEM WITH THAT BUT WE WERE NOT TOLD AND THE SISTER HOTEL WERE NOT EXPECTING US AND THE PRICING ALTHOUGH SAID TO BE THE SAME WAS NOT.

I stayed in this hotel with my mum for one night. I had a very enjoyable stay overall. Room was an excellent size and breakfast was superb. A+++++++++++

A comfortable room and an enjoyable stay. The queue at the breakfast bar was bearable but a little frustrating as items kept runnining out and couldn't be replaced quickly enough. A big improvement could be made if the waiter/waitress served toast at the table;so avoiding another queue.
