Excellent service from staff. Room small but good. The Hotel is close to the bus stop and 20 minutes walk to the main shopping and pubs. There is no bar or resturant open on my stay so had to eat out but food was good.

This Hotel was excellent! From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. and our room was available for check in. The room was small but quite comfortable. There were plenty of windows to open for fresh air (I wouldn't recommend it in the summer, it has no AC). Our room overlooked the street/intersection so it was a bit loud with the windows open but nothing unbearable. THe breakfast at this hotel was phenomenal! There is a great variety to choose from and plenty for seconds, and even thirds! It is in walking distance to the center/shopping & Altstadt as well as Hauptbahnhof! I definitely recommend this hotel for everyone visiting the Düsseldorf area!

The only minus point was that there were no tea/coffe making facilities in the room. As it was a continental breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised that there was a toaster in the breakfast room, and boiled eggs.

Because of it's closeness to the Dusseldorf train station, some of the area is a little rundown and it is a very long walk to the Alstadt but a short walk to the station, of course. Staff, except for the owner, was very inattentive. He was great. Breakfast was good. Room was of good size but traffic noise was a problem. But you get what you pay for. Next time we'll taxi to a hotel closer to the river.
