This was a good place to stay at the end of our trip when we were tired. There was parking though it was valet which was expensive and a hassle. The room was fine - average nice hotel style - and the location was convenient to the city, shopping, restaurants (Etruscan - yum!), and close enough that we could drive to Otago Penn. one day. Overall, a good choice, but a little pricey.

It was a lovely spacious room with a kingsize bed. Very clean and comfortable. This hotel gets top rating for comfortable pillows. I meant to find out what brand they were and get some at home - they were really good. My only two minor concerns were a) The view from our window was probably one of the worst views I've ever had in a motel - it overlooked some old tin roofs and I guess nothing can be done about that. b) There was noise from the elevator which was close to our room. It wasn't enough to interrupt our sleep though. Overall I would definitely stay at this motel again.

New anonymous hotel that is bang in the centre of town. Valet car parking is $10 a night but the nearby public car park is $1.60 an hour so it's good value!

Although Scenic Circle chain this was way below the Scenic Cirle in Napier. The service and food were poor.

Modern, spacious clean hotel. We requested a large king room, and were initially put in a twin. Then promptly moved to a different room. Hotel was nice, wasn't that fussed about Dunedin too.

We were really pleased with our stay at the Scenic Circle in Dunedin, we were only there for 2 nights, but the staff was very friendly and helpful - You shouldn't have to pay for parking ($10 per night) but that was the only real drawback. Internet in the rooms is quite expensive, and uses a somewhat antiquated system. Location was excellent, extremely well kept. Very highly recommend.

Wake up calls were 10 minutes late.Didn't matter to me but might to someone on a tight schedule.Friendly staff.Very good pricing for room service breakfast with small meals available.I would stay here again.

Well appointed and comfortable rooms. Excellent meals both in the cafe, and from room service. Best of all were the staff, who were professional, helpful and friendly.
