The Gresham Hotel Dublin, opened in 1817, is an elegant 4-star establishment located in the heart of historic downtown Dublin. A very good hotel, at a reasonable price. Best possible location, in front buses stops to/frrom the airport and in a very central area. All the best places of Dublin are within walking distance. Rooms are clean, spacious, equipped with the best technologies also for business. Very good staff, competent and helpful. I have travelled a lot, for work and tourism: this is one of the best hotels I have ever encountered. Cannot judge the food quality because I did'nt eat here.

We enjoyed our stay. We were very disappointed that we could not stay an additional night when we returned to Dublin. Bar prices were a bit steep, but the breakfast was good!

The Gresham Hotel has without doubt got great location for intending visitors, Taxis, Buses,Bars,Restruants,shopping all close at hand, but sadly the hotel rooms were a disappointment, views from bed-rooms window were non-existant because of brick walls outside blocking views and water pressure in bathroom shower was just a trickle also furniture in rooms well past their life span. Otherwise a enjoyable experience.

Service at the Gresham hotel is fine. Staff are international, well selected and trained. Excellent bars and restaurants. Hotel location is central but, at night, care needs to be taken in the neighbourhood. Rooms are clean and well maintained but no mini-bar, fridge, iron and ironing board. Furnishings are of the modern variety. Hotel is larger than first appears. For the price, very good value - don't expect all the grace and favours promised by the frontage and history.

1. Electronic services in room need to be improved - TV old, no pay-per-view services. 2. Room decor tired in parts, a lack of attention felt. 3. Hotel decor mixed: corridor had a carpet in good condition, though ceiling in poor condition (dated paneling). 4. Lift door badly scratched and marked. 5. Rm Services sandwiches better than the breakfast. 6. No piano 7. Hotel inoffesive, but it lacked a denoting ‘key note feature, that made one happy about paying 4/5 star monies.

The Gresham is a beautiful hotel located in the middle of Dublin. Unfortunately, I found the service less than adequate. I arrived early (11:00 AM) which was when my flight got me there. The staff made me wait until 3:20 PM before I could enter my romm. I know that they needed time to have the person leave and then clean the room, but they took their time while I had to wait for 4 hours and 20 minutes to enter the room.

We are very disappointed as we didnt get to stay at the gresham hotel-they were overbooked and they had a flood and we were shipped to another hotel nearly missing the concert we were going to see-we were only staying one nght and it was supposed to be a special occasion but we were treated badly by both hotels and although after much discussion we have received a voucher for the gresham in hyde park we would seriously not consider ever going to the gresham in dublin again
