Excellent stay! Will definately use again. The bedroom was very spacious, bathroom nice and clean and we had the choice of smoking or non smoking rooms. We also used the bar ajoined to the hotel and the food was excellent and there was also live entertainment on both Saturday and Sunday.

I stay in this hotel on a regular basis when I visit Dublin due to its keen pricing, excellent leisure centre and proximity to the city without being central. If I decide to go into the city centre I can either travel by car or on the Luas light rail service which has a stop 400m from the hotel. I have been disappointed with my last few visits due to the fact that the Lift has been out of service. It was out of order in September when I visited, again in October and once again on my most recent visit on Nov 23-25th. I will be returning again this weekend Nov30th - Dec 2nd. I will keep you posted on any further developments regarding the Lift and its availability or otherwise.

Window was broken so it did not stay open properly. The room was too warm even though no heating was on. Possibly individual air conditioning/heater units would be more suitable

The only way I can best decribe this hotel is Faulty Towers. From role plugs hanging out behind the towel rail (and being amazed it hadn't already fallen down) and a wobbly sink (due to the back of the basin not being attached securely to the wall) to electrical plug sockets hanging out of the wall. What health and safety? As for the service the staff are not properly trained and don't know the boundries between clients and staff being over familiar. Being Irish myself I know the culture is very friendly but this was too much. One doesn't expect a lecture about smoking from the door staff in the evening, especially when being good enough to go outside to carry out the habit as it is illegal to smoke inside. The place needs a health and safety inspection or shut down before somebody is seriously electrocuted or has their sink basin fall onto them.

30 minutes by tram, direct connection to the centre of Dublin (only 1,90 euros), perfect for the visitors that prefer to pay a little less for a nice hotel.

We could not fault the Hotel or staff. Breakfast was good,with plenty to eat. Prices for Dining Room and Bar meals were reasonable for tasty food. Taxi fare from Airport costs 41.00 English Pounds each way, allow an hour for taxi travel. Dublin City is 30 minutes away in a great Light Rail service 5 minutes walk from Hotel. Kylemore is the interchange for a number of Bus Services.

This is an ideal location if you have no need to go in to Dublin centre. Access is good from the ring road.

Problem when checking out. Was certain full amount paid upon booking but hotel INSISTED if any monies had been taken it would be a booking fee only. Paper work provided didn't state what had been paid. I had no choice but to pay again. Checked bank statement when arrived home and sure enough I'd been charged twice!!! HotelNet spoke to hotel and sorted but still awaiting refund.

Excellent hotel with good facilities and staff. Service was first class. Access to the city centre is easy - the Luas stop is about three minutes from the hotel. The cost of breakfast needs to be clarified if one is staying 'room only' but that is a minor quibble - overall this hotel provides a very relaxing stay!

Great Leisure centre and swimming pool. Friendly service and just a 3min walk to the nearest Luas tram stop with its connection to the city centre.

Really nice hotel and an ok atmosphere. Clean, warm, but wasnt keen on the fact they use blankets on the beds rather than duvets .... breakfast was extra at 8 Euros daily ...the location could be a bit of a prob if you want to be in the city centre every day as it is a good 30mins by the Luas (tram) into the centre. Very regular and dependable service but often very very busy and everyone is crushed in ... personally we liked it but some may not. First time for me in Dublin and would def go back but would prefer a more central location.

The only problems with the hotel was the constant noise from traffic passing the front of the hotel and obviously very little can be done to resolve that situation.We found that the location of the hotel in relation to Dublin City centre was a little way out and consequently a lot of our time was taken up travelling back and forward from our base to the city.We feel that for anyone visiting Dublin for the first time a car is a vital necessity from this hotel.

An excellent hotel. The rooms are large and clean with the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are amazing (enough to keep you going all day). The only disadvantage is the location. Whilst the hotel is away from the hustle, bustle and noise of the city centre, it does take about 30-40 minutes to get to the centre by the Luas tram, with the tram stop about 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. I must say though, this would not stop me staying at this hotel again.

the place is adequate, nothing more.The breakfast very disappointing with very limited choice and poor service.The location is far from the centre and inconvenient for a tourist.
