Very lively hotel, great bar. Perfect for a group. Not suitable for people looking for a quiet weekend with lots of sleep!

Noise from the bars and nightclubs would be an issue at the weekend but the nightclubs do not open during the week and the bar was not busy when i stayed there

We got a cold room (no.18), and it was not possible to get the heatingsystem working. But the room was pretty impressive with pillars and a (fake?) fireplace...

do not judge this hotel on photos on the website- the room I had was tiny and filthy. The porter was excellent. I am still waiting for the receptionist to ring me back to advise whether I can change rooms and i checked out 3 days ago!! She said she would look into it and didn't even bother to ring me back to see if I could move.

the noise that came from drunk people leaving clubs was terrible, but not the clubs under the hotel. you could hear every word, as the windows were so thin. hotel room was lovely though.

There is only 1 thing wrong with this hotel and that is the noise. It is a real shame that they haven't got some double glazing to help to minimise this. The music is loud and goes on til 2.30am, which if you are oout til that time yourself then it isn't a problem Then after the music finishes there are people outside in the street til 4.30am. Lots of people!! The noise is constant. It really is a shame as all other aspects of this hotel are top class. Good size rooms, clean, the service is top class. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful though this is not the place to go. The location is brilliant though. I would probably go here again, but only for a short break.

The Russell Court Hotel was situated in a very good position, just 5 minutes walk from Grafton Street. We had a triple room which consisted of a single bed, and a double bed and this came with a very large bathroom - although the shower was very small! One bad thing about the room was that the plug socket looked very dangerous and was hanging off the wall. The breakfast was a bit disappointing - my friend is a vegetarian and asked for no meat and was brought a plate which consisted of 2 hash browns and one tomato...not good!!! My other friend asked for no sausages and was brought a plate of ONE hash brown and one tomato...no bacon or egg! Luckily, the toast and cereal was plentiful so they filled up on them!! (we skipped breakfast the next day and went to a nice cafe just down the road!!). Overall, a pleasant stay at the Russell Court - I would definitely stay here again because of the good rates that are offered and the position...but maybe give breakfast a miss!

The hotel was good, the room could do with better lighting and I am sure double glazing would have made a lot of difference to noice from traffic and night club revelers in the middle of the night. Staff were friendly and attentive, breakfast good.

If you can put up with the noise(hotel provides free ear plugs), then good place to stay. Central, clean, friendly and the breakfast will keep you going all day!
