Large hotel. Very nice breakfast. A bit noisy but that was no surprise. About 10 minutes walk to the centre. Alot cheaper than staying the the Temple Bar area. Value for money.

The room was tiny. The bathroom door would not shut due to rising damp under the tiles. Furniture doors would not shut. There was nowhere to put the luggage. Had to use the desk. The corridors smelt musty. These rooms in the old section would be pushing to get a two star rating in Australia.

BE CAREFUL THAT YOU ASK FOR QUIET ROOMS AT THE BACK OF THE HOTEL UNLESS YOU WISH TO TAKE UP TRAIN SPOTTING AS A NEW HOBBY.VERY NOISY.GOOD FOOD,BUT NO PREFERENCE FOR GUESTS OFFERED ON RESTAURANT BOOKING,SO WE COULD NOT EAT HERE ON 2 NIGHTS OF OUR CHOICE.

The hotel is located in the city center and is good for its location. But, the standard of the hotel is not very good.

Railway bridge very near to our room. Trains disturbing especially late evening and early morning.

Our rooms were in the original part of the hotel facing onto a very busy street which meant a high level of traffic noise during the morning rush hour. The rooms although furnish to an acceptable standard were not cleaned to the same standard. Saying all of this I would still recommend theis hotel as good value for money as the staff were very courteous and friendly.

the only problem i had with the hotel was that a railway line run straight behind our room and shook the whole hotel then a train went past. would have been better if had been informed about this.

Very good location, friendly reception staff, but room really shaking from the nearby train station. I was put in a ground floor room, facing the back yard and garbagge, when I asked to be moved, had to pay a big supplement, as my original paying rate was really low, so I coulnn't have a better room...

Average in most respects. Excellent Irish breakfast. Chosen for location to railway station - across the road.

Good hotel, shame about the railway for the back rooms. Excellent breakfasts and a good pint of Guiness in the McCoy bar. Location is not bad, railway is a bit close. On the whole, good clean hotel, no irish work there though !!!

The service was particularly friendly and helpful. I mentioned when checking in that I was leaving before breakfast was served and was immediately told that I could have breakfast delivered to my room at a convenient time. Some sensitive souls may have problems with the proximity of the rail line, but it is not very noisy and did not cause me any lost sleep.
