We have just returned from fantastic trip to Hotal Isaacs, Dublin. The hotel was brilliant, the staff were very helpful. We arrived early morning and I emailed the hotel to inform them and they had our room ready for our early arrival. Restuarant food was good value for money and the breakfast were exceptional. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Enjoy your stay.

Room was very dark, and hotel was very noisy.

The hotel was perfect for our one night stay in Dublin. They even manages to get us a parking spot even though we had not booked it in advance. The rooms where clean. The service for breakfast could have been a little faster.

First room offered was not acceptable, requested a change and very satisified with the room provided.

Hotel Isaacs Dublin has a perfect location in the city centre. Though the tram line goes almost above the building and the central bus station is opposite the hotel, we certainly didn't experience our room or the surroundings particularly noisy. Warmly recommended!

On their website it was indicated that the italian restaurant had an excellent choice of meat and fish, but I must say it was an exaggeration. They had mostly pizza and pasta to choose among from the menu. The breakfast procedure did not run so smoothely in the morning either. You had to wait some time for a table and the bread to be toasted (from the buffet).

A week before my visit to Ireland I was informed that the hotel of my original booking (The Longfield) had 'closed' and that I was being offered the Isaacs as a substitute.Given the short notice I had could hardly refuse.I was assured that it was an 'upgrade'. Although I have no reservations about the facilities and service provided by the Isaacs it is a very poorly located hotel. My bedroom faced out to the very noisy bus depot and both the tram and DART train also passed by.There were signicant road works adjacent. I visited the Longfields hotel and found that it was being completely stripped out...evidence that it had been known for some time that it was due to close. Its location convinced me that the Isaacs was not really an upgrade.

though there are plenty of cheaper accomodations one can find in and around dublin few would be in as fantastic a position as Hotel Isaac. Very easy to get to from the airport (via airlink) and literally a 30 second walk to the main train station in Ireland as well as one of the main bus stations. Also an easy stroll to the majority of places of interest in Dublin. Being in such a brilliant location certainly enhanced our time while there. Only criticisms would be that breakfast had a limited choice (not necessarily a bad one, but would have been nice to have a larger choice) and also if you want to stay here make sure you research prices and things from other websites as sometimes they will offer a cheaper rate than through hotelclub.

We found our stay at the Hotel Isaacs very good indeed. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom had a shower and a bath which we like. I would not hesitate to recomend this hotel to any family or friends who are going to Dublin

Whilst the public rooms at least manage to look OK the same cannot be said of the bedroom, basic furniture, bed on the verge of collapse, no usable drwaers no wardrobe - just a hanging rail in a half an alcove. It's hard to see how the the number of extention leads and adaptors used managed to pass a safety inspection and the picture on Tv made me think that I had already had too much of the black stuff. For the discounted rate of £120 per night we got the equivalent of a £35 per night English B&B although it must be said that all Dublin hotels appear to be expensive when compared to UK prices. The rate included breakfast, on the first morning I went for the Full Irish, second morning - coffee and toast, third morning - thank heavens for Starbucks!

Need better directions, due to the one way system, on how to actually get to the hotel, by car.
