Great location for temple bar easy walking distance but far enough away to get a sleep, wasn't able to check in until 14.30

The facilities in the room were poor and many did not work (eg fridge and lights) This was obviously a long standing problem but they continued the use the room. The breakfast was not of a good standard. The staff were however very helpful and friendly.

Decent sized rooms; modest Irish breakfast. Perfectly adequate for an overnight stop and very good value for money indeed for its quite central location.

Good location within easy walking distance to many attractions. The staff were very helpful and even allowed us to occupy our room well in advance of the usual check-in time. The breakfast included was adequate to start the day. Bathroom facilities were quite old, but very clean. Very comfortable bed.

The perfect location for visiting Dublin. Close enough to walk to Temple Bar, far enough away not to get disturbed by the craic.

We were very disappointed with the Hotel. On arrival we were given a room on the top floor, which is 10 flights of stairs. Then told the lift wasn't working. Inside the room the bedspread was covered in stains. It looked as though someone had thrown up on it at sometime. When I pulled the cover back about 12 inches or so it was all yellow stains with what looked like specks of dried blood. It could only be described as disgusting. I complained at reception and requested another room. I was simply told that there were no other rooms, but they would look into it the following day. This didn't happen. They did agree to change the bedding. I'm not very happy and feel we were let down. Certainly not value for money and certainly not getting my recommendation. This is our first time using [your website]. I'm not sure I would like the experience again.

After handing over the prepaid voucher at check in, I was asked to make a deposit of 50.00 Euro - for possible damages. I have never experienced this at a hotel before, so I refused. The refusal was accepted. On Friday and Saturday night, there was some music (bass sounds) from the bar entertainment at the ground floor, until late at night - 2 am.

Great location, right at the edge of Temple Bar. Good sized room but bedding rather old and tattered (cigarette burns in coverlet even though non smoking room requested) and window was cracked. Poor lighting with no light over dressing table. Breakfast was rather odd - fried egg, beans and cucumber(!) offered as the vegetarian option! Overall reasonably priced and pleasant staff.
