I though the room we stayed in could have better lighting. The rooms were very warm.

When we arrived we were put in the Citywest Golf hotel not the city west hotel that we booked. Also the pictures on your web site do not match the hotel. The pictures are for the superior room which cant be booked on your site. We very very disappointed.

My main problem with this hotel, is while it adversites Wireless Internet Connection available in all rooms, it is only if you have a compatible laptop. As I have recently purchased mine, and uses Windows Vista, the maintainance guys who came to the room when I asked (at the 3rd attempt) for help on it told me that they don't have a clue how to work it. I also think the price of the bars/restaurants are extremely high. Other than that, the room was great, and breakfast was also nice with plenty of choice.

I believe that the hotel was fully booked on the Saturday night I stayed. There are 4 lifts in the lobby but only 1 was working. If you didn't get in early for breakfast there was a queue of 15-20 minutes with tea & coffee as rare as diamonds.

Hotel quite a way from the centre of Dublin, but we knew this before we booked, however, bus service available from front gates. Excellent room, both clean and spacious. Lemongrass restaurant in annex hotel absolutely superb.

Very comfortable, clean hotel with good sized rooms and excellent facilities.I was fortunate to get upgraded to a Superior Room at no extra cost. Staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast unfortunately, like in most hotels in Ireland now, is self-service and the food is kept partially warm on hotplates. Last time I stayed there, I had my evening meal in the Lemongrass Restaurant and was delighted with the food.

The hotel is a modern large structure with good quality fittings & good room comfort. Security was lacking with regard to noise levels in rooms and the amount of individuals using bedrooms. There was a noisy party of at least 8 persons going on in adjacent bedroom until nearly 4am. The rooms are partition stud & sound proofing leaves a lot to be desired. Room doors bang loudly when closed. These comments represent my experience on a weekend before Christmas.

The Hotel setting was lovely and upon arrival we were given an automatic upgrade. The rooms were superb and the Lemongrass Restaraunt was well worth a visit. didnt get a chance to use the spa or pool but did have a peek and it looked great. Wish I could have stayed an extra day and will be back before too long!

Very pleasant and the cheapest accomodation we had in Ireland (although it was possibly the best). We stayed in the golf section of the hotel, which is not always open.

It stated that it is a 4 * Hotel in a tranquil area of Dublin. To our horror it was the most noisy hotel we had ever stayed in. On the first night they had two wedding and the music was so loud and even vibrated our windows in our bedroom on the 4th floor!,some drunken wedding guest keep us awake until around 1.00 am. The following night was worse as the Hotel was invaded by Hurling Teams winners form Kilkenny and their supporters. The Hotel was full to the brim with rowdy drunken supporters and we were awoken at around 4.50 am to shouting and banging of our room doors. I did make a complain to the reception but had no apology. The final insult was the cleaners got rid of our private face flannel and our tooth brushes! after the first night and we had to ask for a pair of tooth brush from reception and at the time we check out had not have an apology from the management.

If you do not need to be in the centre of Dublin then CityWest is the ideal place to stay and the facilities and prices are excellent.

I was disappointed because only the Brasserie was open for service on a Wednesday night. There was a bar food menue which was adequate. Otherwise the hotel was good value and well run
