The Carlton has a very upmarket modern style look from the moment you enter the hotel.Staff very helpful and so was the free shuttle bus which came promptly when called by the free phone in arrivals. Everything the normal high standards that is expected in these chains.Only slightly negative point was price of food in restaurant and the price for what you get in the bar restaurant but then it is Dublin and the restaurant is of a high standard.

Very nice hotel just outside the airport gates. Courtesy bus will bring you to and from hotel every 30 minutes. Overall a very nice hotel. Will definitely stay here again when flying.

We were upgraded (25 €) to a nice and spacious room with a balcony and some luxury items. It was worth it.

Ienjoyed my stay there,only one fault I had scrambled eggs for breakfast one am and it was extremly runny,the next am after it was perfect.

It was a nice hotel and I recommend it. The service in the restaurant could be improved although it wasn't bad. Also, no hair dryers were available in the rooms and internet access was expensive. The shuttle to the airport was very convenient and the breakfast was nice.

Great hotel with great service, but we found it a little far from the city center. The hotel offers a complimentary hotel shuttle, and there are buses that run to the city center regularly, but getting back late at night it a little more complicated. We ended up taking a taxi for 15 Euro (which is really not that bad). All in all, we had a great stay in Dublin!

I would have liked to have rated this hotel as my booking was with this hotel...... however...on arrival I was informed that my booking had been changed and I..with my overseas guests ... were told we had alternative accommodation (which turned out to be a lower rating) ..miles away ..resulting in having to be transferred by minibus. Only by asking for the duty manager, to whom I explained the reasons I had chosen the Carlton Hotel...location and rooftop restaurant .. was I offered transport to and from the Carlton for the evening meal. The only saving grace was the waiving of the charge for our evening meal. I still feel 'cheated'. Be warned. Be aware. Be prepared.

The coach driver is an asset to any hotel he is the first person you meet when you arrive off a flight. Friday the 16th March was a very cold evening and his cheerfulness and pleasure in the work he does comes across very well. I would be happy to stay again at the Carlton Hotel
