Excellently situated across the road from the tram stop outside Heuston Station, so easy access into city centre, Air Link 748 bus also stops there. Not too far to walk into the citycentre either. Excellently placed for the Guinness Storehouse, you can beat the crowds!! Restaurant highly recommended when you can't face going back into Dublin. Staff are friendly and efficient and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Bar is excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay. Free parking was a bonus, as was accessibility to city by tram and the closeness to Phoenix Park for a walk before breakfast! When booking, I found so many different rates for the same accommodation at the Ashling Hotel and would like to know how to find the best rate at this (we will use it again) and other hotels in the group.

I have stayed in Best Western Hotel around the world. This one offered very poor service in the reception and the duty manager also was not helpful. The first two rooms offered were very poor and not up to stand. The breakfast was very good, but in a small room. I'am not sure about using Hotelclub again!

Nice hotel, clean rooms and good location close to the LUAS tram and Heuston Railway station. Very much noise - screaming teenagers - in the Pub weekend evenings.

Great location - 1 min walk from the train/bus station (Heuston) and a 15/20 mins walk to city centre shopping and nightlife. Hotel has a decent bar and a very good Irish breakfast. Staff helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent base for a short break in Dublin.

Our overall experience with this hotel was quite good. Only small mistake was that we were appoionted a smoking room even though booking a non-smoker at Hotelclub. But as we did not complain I guess this cannot be blamed on the hotel. Very pleased that the hotel has chosen to use Asian foreign labour instead of eastern European. Very pleasant and polite service compared to many other places in Dublin!! The Polish bar tender was nice and talkative, though. Breakfast was good but the type served from a counter. Bacon good, eggs a little boring. Selection of breads was good for an Irish hotel. Polite and informative Irish staff in the reception. Rooms okay but nothing special. Our bathroom had a tub and the water pressure was good. Hot water not as hot as it should be but okay.

The hotel was slightly far from the main town but buses, trams and trains were on the doorstep. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

This is the most unfriendly hotels I have ever stayed in. I knew it was convienient for going into the city but that's where the good news ends. The staff were unhelpfull with cleaners bursting into the room at 9am and returning again 45 mins later. I also queried the price as I needed to change the room type at the last minute and after 4 phonecalls and nobody available to help me I gave up. I would not stay again!!

Although the hotel was close to the Guinness factory which was good, it was further away from the downtown area than I would have wanted. If they had mentioned that in the website I might have stayed closer to town. But overall it was a nice stay.
