The location was excellent...right in heart of Darwin. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to all who wished for a central hotel in Darwin. Would certainly return on next visit to Darwin

As good as the hotel was, the same sort of thing happened as at others when using this facility to book. The room allocated is in probably one of the poorer areas of the complex, ie no view, interconnecting etc. It would be good if they made the pool area smoke free.

The only criticism i've ogt is the lack of balcony and small window size in the room. (feel locked up).

I stayed on my own at Darwin Central Hotel for 4 nights. I had a great little corner room with good views on the 4th floor. The room was very quiet and clean. The bed and pillows were fantastic. Usually I do not sleep well in hotels but I had fantastic sleeps at he Central. The location of the hotel is great. Everything that I needed was in walking distance.

The hotel is very well located within the CBD with a short walk to the Mall, eateries and bus exchange. However, we would have appreciated casual bar/dining within the confines of the hotel. Accommodation was roomy, but carpet and furnishings were looking a little tired. The laundry facility was very welcome. Reception staff were pleasant, efficient, very helpful and obliging.

Disappointing that the rooms only had one tiny window when they would have had an interesting view otherwise. Reasonable size and good location.

We really the location. We had been concerned that it might be noisy, being in the city centre, but the room was quiet and very comfortable. For the money, I thought it was a very good deal.

We were delighted with all the facilities and the accommodation at the Darwin Central. The fittings and layout of the hotel and the room were excellent. The hotel is situated right in the middle of town so we were in the centre of everything - don't worry about any noise - it is soundproofed! The price was amazing considering the nearest comparable hotel in Darwin was more than $100 PN more expensive. The Staff at the Darwin Central are some of the friendliest and most helful we came acroos in all our travels in the Top End of Australia. Anyone who stays at the Darwin Central will not be disappointed. Happy travelling.

Expensive for what you get. Make sure you ask for a room AWAY from the lift well. It sounds like a jackhammer in the wall all day and all night.

We would have liked to have a bigger pool to use. We also thought the breakfast was good value for money and offered a good variety of well prepared food.
