The hallway was pitch black. You will need to know to turn on the lights with the switch on the wall. It was scary and creepy when I first arrived to get to my room.

Inexpensive hotel 5 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station. Rooms are small but modern and excellently designed to pack in all that you need. 20 channel TV covering most major language options. Quiet location, many bars and restaurants nearby. Simple basic breakfast included in the room rate. Will definitely stay again.

I was a little suprised that the room was so small, but am still adjusting to European sizes I guess. Location was great, breakfast was basic, and staff were very friendly. Overall not bad. If you can get in to the Marriot, our friends stayed there and its gorgeous in comparison with big rooms and lots of facilities.

Hotel basic but clean and centrally located. I stayed in a triple room which had three single beds. It was small but adequate. Lack of wardrobe space was a problem with only one small wardrobe between 3 women. Lisa at reception was an absolute gem and could not been more helpful. She is an asset to any hotel.

Hotel location a wee bit out of town but 10~15 minutes walk to city centre. Side streets and alleys around the hotel should be avoid as should any inner city back streets. The room was very basic but clean. En suite was more a wet space as you find on ships but quite adequate. Bed was too hard for me but most people like a harder bed. The breakfast hall was also fairly basic but had all the main constituents of a continental breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. We left our bags there for the day in the baggage 'dungeon' and it seemed fairly safe and secure. In future I think I would stay out of town and commute in like some friends of ours did from Lund, Sweden across the bridge or from a more modern hotel at the airport.

The rooms are small (but enough for 2 people and you don't want to spend the day in your room anyway). Location is really perfect (5 minute walk to the central station and Tivoli). Breakfast was fine, rooms were clean, staff were very friendly.

The hotel is old with narrow hallways, but the room we stayed in was spacious (we were in a triple room). It was far from luxurious, but clean and suited us quite well these few days we stayed. The toilet was separate from the shower and we had two sinks, one of which had a tap that needed to be manipulated a bit specially to give the desired water temperature, and the other sink was cracked, but all functional. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good (bread, ham, salami, cheese, yogurt, juice, coffee...). Overall we were satisfied.
