Good place to stay on the nowadays idle waterfront, triangulated between Nyhavns restaurants, kongl theatre-shopping and gov-financial districts. Newly renovated to somewhat traditional marine-wood-brass-cruising style.

We stayed in this hotel in September of 2007. Overall hotel is a good hotel, however there are several things that we would like to metion. First, the breakfast a good selections, but most of the offered items has not taste. Second, if you plan to check into you room before 2:00 pm, beware that this hotel will not accomadate you, since they josld this rule very seriously. Also, make sure you do not get a room on the first floor, since you will not be able to keep your cutains open, because fo the people walking outside.

This hotel is great. Clean, competent staff and it's location is perfect. The only thing missing is air conditioning when the weather is warm.

We had a triple room-small-and very hot. They did give us a small fan to help, but we could not move to a room on a lower floor. Staff was very pleasant. I thought this room was overpriced and not a good value for what we paid. Good location. Breakfast was Ok-mostly bread, pastry and cereal.

We were given a very small room on the 5th floor with bed against the wall and only 60 cm of space on the other side. Only place to put our second suitcase was under the vanity in the bathroom. There was a tiny rooftop balcony with a partial waterview but the noise from exhaust system on the neighbouring building made it impossible to open the window for air or use the balcony. On request the next day we were changed to a larger room on the 1st floor with no view but it was much more comfortable.

First I got a very tiny room in the back building. The suites facing the canal however are very nice!
