Well located close to station. Good breakfast plus light supper available free of charge. There is also free WiFi. Try to avoid ground floor rooms though as you cannot open the window very much and the rooms get stuffy in summer.

Awfull! For the money spent the service was terrible. The hotel employees were rude, when I arrived in the late afternoon wanted to take a shower but there was no soap or shower gel. I asked to the reception and they wanted me to wait till the next day! After I insisted they gave me the soap. Rooms were very dusty and the cleaning was practically inexistent. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS HOTEL!

July 2007. We were two pensioners showing our young granddaughter the Danish capital. Despite major improvements being carried out on the hotel we were very happy staying at the Mayfair. The staff were very helpful, the food was good and plentiful and the central position ideal for tourists. The price was sensible considering the included extras. We look forward to staying at this hotel in 2008 and to seeing what further improvements have been made to what was already a very good hotel. GW

I am not very happy with the service of the hotel, it was barely absent, there was no one in reception, I had to wait more then normal for the receptionist calling a cab. I had the impression they were acting as I was disturbing their quiet.

Good location close to the Central station in Copenagen, easy 8 minute walk to Stroget main shopping area. I had everything I needed in the room, it was quiet with a comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was not included in the price but you could buy it for an extra DKK65. Good value for price and exactly what you need in a central location in Copenhagen.

This was an excellent hotel and we would certainly consider staying here again the next time we are in Copenhagen. The decor was beautiful with real furniture rather than the trend followed by most hotels for ultra 'modern' characterless retro styling. the location was the best feature, so close to central station, and breakfast was great with a wide range of choice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very close to the train station, but equally close to a rather sketchy area of town. The hotel was relatively clean despite worn carpeting and such. However, they did not follow up with housekeeping - ie left 5 large bags of dirty towels in the hallway all day and night. Front desk staff during the day was rude despite them having lost my reservation. Late night staff was very friendly.

This was an excellent hotel for the price paid. The room was clean, the hotel was convenient. lobby and public spaces were comfortable. The complimentary evening light buffet was quite a treat.
