This is a very nice and clean hotel located in the heart of Cologne. Our room was relatively small but very clean and nice. Breakfast is very good and was included into the price. An excellent buffet with a variety of cheeses, salami, fruits, etc, etc. Location is very convenient - about 15 minutes walking to the cathedral. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay in Cologne.

This hotel is in a decent location and is probably most suited to companies booking for large groups. This is a much bigger hotel than it looks. The breakfast was pretty good the hotel restaurant was really a public bar/restaurant which was ok but not great. My only complaint would be the size of the room, it was small and the bathroom even smaller. I wouldn't make this hotel my first choice next time I'm in Cologne but if I am having trouble finding a decent hotel then this is a safe choice if you just need the basics.

Hotel staff very helpful. Downsides were music could be heard whilst in bed at night from the hotel bar. Also access to the rooms was difficult, lots of stairs to climb before getting to the lift which was a problem for my mother, especially as we had to carry our own suitcases up the stairs. But rooms were lovely and location was great, we much preferred it to the old town.

Excellent value for money hotel, ideally located in an area full of bars and restaurants, and only a ten to fifteen minute walk to the Dom and River. Will definitely stay again next time in Koln.

This is definitely a very good hotel, and the prices (at least at the Hotel Club rate) represent good value for a hotel of this quality. Lift access to the main part of the hotel first requires climbing stairs for one floor, and then a walk along a passage. There is nothing really wrong with the location: the hotel is very close to the Hohenzollern ring, and very easily accessible by U-Bahn. It's just not right in the city centre (as represented by the Dom/HBf), although it might be said to be in a more interesting area. The buffet breakfast is varied and substantial, and efficiently run: one smalll suggestion might be that coffee or tea be available in some self-service manner rather than depending on a waiter/waitress noticing that the guest has arrived and taking an order. We found the reception staff quite exceptionally friendly and helpful, and one member, in particular, dealt most sympathetically with a potentially serious problem that arose for us.

The only negative thing I could say was that we were on the 4th floor directly above the night club and on the main road.The noise from the club went on to well after 3am and the shouting in the street even later.I would stay there again but would insist on a room on the other side of the hotel. Apart from that, the hotel was excellent and I am recommending it to friends

Right in the centre of town, a very clean and up to date hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold buffets. The piano bar situated below was brilliant for live music while we were there. I'd certainly go back as would the others in my party.
