The Hilton Cologne is a luxury hotel opened in 2002 on the former site of the city's post office building. A wide range of on-site facilities includes a fitness center, sauna, hammam and a 500-person meeting room. Guests can use the courtyard terrace for a coffee break, meeting or business lunches. The area can also be rented for cocktail parties and private barbecues.
The hotel's 296 modern guestrooms and suites are done in warm, chocolate tones and paneled wood flooring, and feature television and wireless internet access. The contemporary Konrad Restaurant also has parquet flooring and ultra-modern lighting and furniture. It serves a full, buffet breakfast. The Ice Bar, the counter of which is made from real ice, plays funk music until dawn and serves a long list of local vodkas.
