The main hotel was lovely, unfortunately we were staying in an annex hotel round the corner. The annex hotel was perfectly adequate yet very disappointing when compared to the main hotel.

We ere made to feel very welcome and the room facilitiers were excellent. The car service from the gate to the cite to and from the hotel was very efficient. The adjacent hotel brasserie offered good, well prepared food at moderate prices.

We stayed in a delux room situated within the main hotel, the room was small although clean and comfortable. Little choice was provided at breakfast (which cost 10 euros per person per day). The hotel is well situated within the walls, was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

no umbrella available for guests use on the walk from ramparts to main hotel for breakfast. staff not helpful in this regard.

I extended my stay one extra night. I was disappointed not to be offered the same rate as for the first two. It was priced as if I had just turned up at the desk enquiring for a room. This is why I rate service as average. Otherwise I was very happy with the experience

It would help if their website had explained how to find the hotel in the citadel, and where to park and that you can have your luggage collected from the car park. Apart from that we had no complaints.

This is a superb quirky hotel in the centre of the old city, within the walls. We stayed here in May 2007 for just one night but would most certainly return without question. The atmosphere just reflects Carcassonne and the location is faultless.

Wonderful location spread over 3 buildings so you may ned to move luggage after registration. Some rooms very small. Breakfast is excellent as are breakfast staff.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in the old town. The public areas in the hotel are lovely however the rooms are very dated and not very sympathetic to the beautiful exterior. That said the breakfast was great and the staff friendly - a particular plus for us was a lock up for our hire bikes in the main hotel.

make sure you know what part of the hotel you are staying in, it is divided into 3 sections. Unfortunalty, we were not staying in the main part andtrampling through the snow was no picnic!
