they were new people who have taken over the hotel and seem to have good intentions of improving things. They were very friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful. Our room was Quite noisy as the next door neighbour talked incessantly and loudly into the early hours of the morning.

Superb welcome - Isabelle couldn't do enough for you. Excellent location with all the main sites and beaches only a short walk away. Wifi is not free however - you have to purchase a pay as you go card from the french phone company and breakfast whilst served on the beautiful little terrace is a little pricey for what it is. Car parking was free and secure. Lovely pleasant budget hotel that was very welcoming.

The hotel was a little difficult to find but our sat.nav. took us straight to the door. Basic hotel, quite old but room quaint and very clean as I imagined a French hotel would be in the 1930's. Our room was at the front overlooking a narrow street, a little noisy but but not too bad, good air-con. The owners were really charming and helpful and made us very welcome. Breakfast was served on the patio overlooking the private car parking at the rear of the hotel. It was about 15 min stroll to the sea front but a little uphill on the way back. Value for money in a major city.

this hotel is what I would call more like a bed and Breakfast. family owned and very friendly and helpful. The directions provided to us were excellent. we had no problem finding the facility and was just about 10 minutes walking from the beach. I would definately return to Esperanto again.

it's a good accomodation if you like to be in the centre of cannes: 5 minutes to the congress centre and 5 minutes to the old town. nice wellcome and good services. nice terrace to have breakfast.

We stayed 4 nights. Rooms were not very spacious but with A/C and excellent for the price. I was happy to have a parking for my car. We will definitly return to Esperanto.

Very welcoming reception. We came earlier than agreed in the siesta when the reception was closed. Opened without hesitation. Helpful regarding "tourist" questions. Nice and cosy rooms, but some traffic noise when balcony door open. Close the door and use air condition. Breakfast not included in price, plain, and served outside in OK patio. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to holidays among the staff. Free car parking. But overall a very pleasant stay

I paid 58 euro for the room on an advance reservation only to discover that the posted rate for walk-up clients was 50 euro. That really annoyed me, having to pay MORE because I reserved ahead. She also has 2 stupid dogs that come barking out any time someone enters the reception area. These are annoying.
