Excellent. My daughter (3) still talks about her favourite hotel, although there weren't any great children's things there. A small park by the car park behind the restaurant, but two much better ones about a mile along the small road into Fuentespina (beautiful village) respectively near and next to a church on the left hand side, Hermito de something. There's a roadside eating place opposite the turn off. The eating area in the hotel was very pleasant for breakfast. The restaurant across the way opened at eight, which was too late for our two little ones. Cafeteria attached and open all day, but wan't up to much. Very pleasant rooms, good view from the south side. A very good stop over between Madrid and Bilbao. We stayed a few days as the car broke down and explored the Duero Valley, which was lovely.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and have found it very tasefully done. Facilities are good, and it was a good stopover travaling to Portugal about halfway down.

The hotel facilities were good the only area where I beleive that they could improve is to upgrade their adjoining restaurant cuisine. The food was perfectly adequate and well cooked and the service good but I beleive that it fell short of the quality that was offered by the hotel in general. Having said all of that I would not hesitate to use the hotel on a future occasion.

Attractive generally friendly - one member of staff not so helpful, manager/owner extremely helpful and friendly. An excellent wine tasting dinner (though this is a bimonthly occurrence). Air con rather feeble - possibly not working at all.
