We have just returned from a 3 day break at The Carlton. Perfectly situated, lovely breakfast, cosy rooms and helpful staff. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Superb value for money.

Friendly and very helpful staff and a good location with easy access to public transport and the sights. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant there are plenty of places to eat nearby. They do however serve an excellent buffet breakfast. No hesitation in recommending to others - I'll certainly use the hotle again.

Ideal location in the very heart of the city, and warm atmosphere. Very good breakfast. All the stuff are really good and professional. The only minus - very loud cleaning machine in the street daily at 6:00 am. But it was not in the hotel. It was city cleaning service. At the hotel there were no russian TV channels, but we went to Budapest to see the city but not to watch TV. So my husband and I really enjoyed staying at Carlton Hotel Budapest.

Friendly staff and help you any case like ballet tickets and comm is every very low around 2 euro. location is really good just few steps to the royal palace funikuler. few steps to the closest bridge to pass though peste side.

I booked in advance, so the price was really cheap!...maybe because I stayed there in March. The position is perfect for the Buda side: no more than 5 minutes from the Royal Castle and the Mattia's Church. The Chain Bridge is just 100 meters away. La stanza in cui alloggiavo era carina e senza rumori esterni, anche se scarsamente insonorizzata rispetto alle altre stanze. La colazione ok. Complessivamente per quello che ho pagato era un vero affare!

the beds were lovely and comfortable the room warm and cosy the reception staff dour and not very welcoming the chambermaid was delightful. staff could be more forthcoming for example welcome to Budapest enjoy your stay!

Friendly and helpful. The reception area is a little dingy but the room was a pleasant surprise and very nice with a good high speed broadband connection. Breakfast was reasonable but not four star quality. Parking is under the hotel and not so easy to find the first time! Good value for money
