Unfortunately the shower was broken in one room, and the toilet broke whilst there. Both were mended, although the shower should have been picked up before we moved into the room, and it took all day for th toilet to be fixed, eventually getting done in the late evening. Also despite handing in the accomodation voucher on arrival, I was then told I had to pay on check out. I understand this second charge is now being refunded by the hotel.

Check in was very slow - poor staffing levels. They had no record of my booking made by [your website] which caused me significant problems. When I was checking out on the morning of departure thay asked me for fully payment again - more problems for me to resolve. My room was registered to someone else and the other person has a large bar bill to pay which they asked me to pay!. This hotel has reservation problems and I will avoid it in future!

Heating and air conditioning system is a joke. A switch near the desk makes you think the system will automatically operate to reach the temperature you selected.. WRONG.. It's an either-or manual system. My room was cold during the first two nights then a receptionists came to turn some knobs behind the wood panel and I ended up in a room much too warm. They promised to move me to another room but failed to keep it. Come to think about it, it probably wouldn't help anyway. Room is small and a bit over-priced.

I advise checking your reservation directly with this hotel. Twice now I have arrrived and the hotel has said it has no record of my reservation made through HotelClub. This is not acceptable. Both the hotel and HotelClub should sort out this immediately.

Large and slightly impersonal but impeccable decor and cleanliness. Room size not generous, but perfectly comforable and well-appointed. Superb value for money.

Lobby is in the basement. If you have a big luggage you need to take THE SLOWEST elevator in Brussels (maybe in the world) down. Buffet breakfast is good, breakfast area is spacious and clean. Room size typical European. 'Technical Service' is very creative. When I complained about the A/C not working, they open the windows for me. A quick (but noisy) solution. Quickly fixed after 2nd complaint.

The room smelled smoke, it lacked essentiels like glass for toothbrush, cup for drinking tea etc. The man in reception on arrival was extremly unpleasent

I think there was some problem between the on-line reservation through Venere.com and Hotel system. I had spent 30 minutes for check-in because my on-line reservation was not available in Hotel reception.

Really enjoyed our stay. Close to Metro station Rodger and also Gard du Nor and within 15-20 min walking distance to the center. Hotel was really plush. Loved it.
