This hotel is reasonable close to the Gare de Nord station and convenient for much shopping and central restaurants. It is clean and well kept. However my room was the size of a shoe box and very unsatisfactory. Surely it must have been against regulations. Because it was so small it got hot so the window had to be open and they supplied a big fan. At night the street was noisy so I had two nights of little sleep. The shower was tiny and you had to shower with the curtain stuck to you! I missed one breakfast because I was in a hurry but the staff were not - they were nowhere to be seen and nether was any food or drink...

The hotel appear to operate a system of double-booking. When I arrived I was told that my room had been allocated to somebody else and that I would have to accept a room at a different hotel. This happened to other guests too during my three-day stay.

The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was adequate, despite the lack of choice. The only complaint was the noise from the road - my room overlooked the Bvd Adolphe Max, a busy road, and there was no double glazing.

Very good location, very poor breakefast, but there is a compensation if you think that is clean , cheap, and near to the best places to visit.

The location of 100 meters from Rogiere metro station, which is the first stop after Gare du nord. Makes this hotel very handy for all Brussels transportation, also most of the the main attractions are within 1km . The only downside to the hotel was the traffic noise, Although we were not on the main street, the double glazing had very little effect on the noise from the steet and people talking could could be heard quite clearly. The police station is situated 200 meters up the road and sirens are always being exercised, right through the night.

Television does not work and seems even to have no connection to cable or something like that.

The staff were very helpful with good english. The rooms were quite large and nicely furnished - and are being done up at the moment. The hotel is right on the main streeet, which cuts out taxi's and foot work! I found the hotel rates very reasonable but the mini bar and room service is largely over priced, also the prices in the bar are very expensive. I fully enjoyed my stay in the hotel it was my second time to stay and it will not be the last

They did not want to give me an invoice, although when I reserved through your system in other hotels, there was no problem with it. I forgot a night dress there and they told me they did not find it, although I exactly knew where I forgot it. Very bad bathroom, it felt like two stars somewhere in Thailand. Very bad breakfast, no choice, not enough food. I will never stay in this hotel again.
