Good breakfast. Hotel OK, allthough there is some walking distance to center.

Hotel has no air conditioning except for the top floor (25 Euros extra). On warm nights you can open the window but you have to cope with mosquitoes and noise (people play in the park in front or traffic noise in the back). Was told air conditioning will be added this summer so check with the hotel. Receptionists were all very polite and helpful. Housekeeping is very good and responsive. Breakfast is above average. Location is far from city center. This hotel is very popular with tour groups as I see 3-4 tour buses outside every night. Parking garage cost 15 euros per night but I have no problem finding a spot on the street in front of the hotel. It is safe if you remove all belongings (something you have to do in Brussels anyway.) Rooms are what you expect from a tourist hotel, nothing fancy, just comfortable. There is no iron or ironing board, minibar is locked. Some rooms have a safe. Wireless internet costs 8 euros/hr or 15 euros for 3 hrs.

Refurbished rooms are a lot nicer now with laminated flooring and contemporary furniture. Room lighting is still on the dim side. There is a lot of construction going on across the street. Parking garage costs 15 Euros per day.

This hotel is under reconstruction. The room was BAD, missing light, no information, and worst no cleaning between the two nights I stayed there. Hot water was running too slow in the shower and it was almost impossible to find anything in the closet or that part of the room, as the build-in lights from the ceiling was removed. The breakfast was nice. Service was medium, but not worth the 4-5 stars.

The staff was was very friendly but facilities bad. Fitness centrum advertised on internet was closed whole week-end. Great dissapointment not only for us I am sure - should have been told in advance anyway(Internet etc). Reception told us that it will be opened on Monday again. On Monday we arrived there to find out that it opened only at 12.00. Waited again to find out at 12.00 that sauna, whirlpool we wanted to use was broken. Why did not reception tell us? Internet? We used fitness - no showers, no towels, a man watching TV did not show us anything how it works etc. Very drafty - as he kept opening all the windows in the room. Toilet - only after strong demands from him. Room - shower-leaking. Standing light shade - falling off. Connecting door to other guests bedroom - extremely noicey 15-20 min. walk from Grand Place I would not call close! Your other hotel I stayed in was far superior, close to Grand Place, and in fact cheaper.

It was a satisfactory hotel, with helpful staff, and clean conditions. The only thing that bothered me was that my room was too close to the lifts. The ‘bing bongs’ of the lift arriving, woke me on too many occasions!!

the rooms need to be refurbished. The decor is too dark, neither appealing or inviting to the discenring traveller.

This hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment which will make it even more good value for money. I was given room 3436 on the business floor, which was in fact a suite. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Air conditioning still not working.

It is strange that a 4-star hotel doesn't have air-conditioning. And when you open the window it is so noisy that it is impossible to sleep. In the bathroom they give you only soap and shampoo and there is no iron or safe deposit box in the room.

A bit of a trek from the main sights. Unrefurbished rooms very tired. Walls very thin. Non smoking room requests evidently difficult to meet. Good breakfast if you don't mind cool coffee.

Overall the hotel ratesvery well but one problem is the availability of taxis from the hotel. Waits of 30 mins. for the ordered taxi to arrive were experienced on several occasions
