Good value for money. Reservation and check in all very easy and efficient. Staff very courteous, friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. Just try and avoid the 1st floor rooms if possible as the light from the street is a bit strong. Location is not great but very convenient, just a very few minutes from North Station and Rogier Metro station. Exactly what I needed. I would definitely stay again, just in a higher floor room.

Very Near Nord Station, where you can get a train to Central to get to Grand Place. This hotel is on the edge of the Red light District, but was not really a problem. Nice hotel, no hot food replenished during breakfast, but cold foods available where adequate. Would stay there again without hestitation.

Had a two night stay and found staff to be both friendly and helpful. Breakfast was above normal with ample self service food. Only downside was that hotel did not have any air-conditioning and it was very warm in the rooms, (July) Staff did provide fans for use which did help. Note also that this in the North end of Brussels and is also next to the only Red Light District in the area, but this caused no concern to the wife and I. Excellent value for money. Will use again.

There aren´t good options to eat surrounding hotel. The bed is a little fragile. By night, isn´t good to walk aroud.

the hotel has seen better days. there for 3 days. hated to return to the place every night & looked briefly for another hotel. it really stunk. they did provide a fan which helped a little in the heat but I don't know how you'd survive the smell of the place with the windows closed even in cooler weather. The location was OK, we could walk to the trAIN &downtown but after a day of sightseeing some of the basics of decent hotel were missing...and the smell, awful! The staff was minimally courteous but otherwise didn't seem to care about whether we'd be repeat customers. One of my most regrettable stays with venere.

Incredible: our reservation had been confirmed AND CHARGED but we were sent to another hotel because we are fully booked. The hotel arranged new places and paid for the taxi still it made a lot of inconvenience including we didn't get our bills but only copies of the transfers between the two hotels (only one name identified, completely different price from what we had paid). Maybe, The Hampshire expected us to take another taxi to collect our bills?

This hotel is located in the red light district and did not feel safe going out at night. During the day it seemed OK but very shady area, no safe restarurants or bars to walk to.
