I have never stayed in a Hotel where you are the only guests. No staff in hotel you have to get keycard from a different Hotel. Hotel is a bad description, rooms for rent more applicable. Still bear scars from bugbites, recomendation dont go, overpriced very basic accomodation.

The map provided on the website didn't even show the actual street the hotel was on...even though it turned out to be straight off the Grand Place. Once we finally found the hotel, it was locked with no one inside. We finally found a sign in the window directing us to another hotel several blocks away that took care of registration. Talk about NO welcome! Our room key "card" opened the front door and our room. Once inside, the room was fine, with a nice soaking tub in the large bath, but by then we kind of "turned off" by the place. Lots of late night and early morning noise from the street. If we visit again, we'd look for something much quieter.

Nice room and very nice location in a busy place. The only bad point is that there are no employees in the Hotel. You have to get and give back your keys to another place (not far, but..).So the quality of service rate is low. The breakfast is prepared in the morning but you don't see anybody.

Pricing for the Intenet booking was excellent. Location was excellent. We were asked to pay twice as we were told we had made double bookings. This was incorrect and is still to be resolved!! The desk staff were unhelpful. The safe in the room was locked and the office staff claimed there was nothing they could do to make it usable unless we were prepared to pay for a technician to fix it. The bedroom door handle fell off. The shower flooded the bathroom and there was no drain hole in the floor so we were left to dry the floor with towels. The cooked breakfast was quite substantial but cold because the warming trays were not turned on. In general the hotel was a disappointment and we were thankful that we were staying only one night. The other guests we spoke to at breakfast had similar experiences.

An excellent location right in the hearet of Brussels - the Grote Markt is a mere twenty places away. Aside being so near to what is, for us, the most beautiful city square in Europe, it's ideally situated if your main reason for the trip is to go to a performance at the opera house (La Monnaie/De Munt). We had an inner room whicxh was very quiet. I imagine that, given the location, one opening on to the street rather than a light well might be rather different.

The hotel is excellent. If you want to go to Bruxells, don't think twice. The location is fantastic.
