Rather basic 3* very near to city centre, but good value and good service. My only criticism is that as of my last stay (Jan 08) there was no WiFi available in the rooms.

Whilst being far from an excellent hotel, its position near the Nord Station and adjacent to Rogier Metro mean that it represents reasonable value for money. The two very cramped lifts do not always cope at busy times and there is often a slight smell of sewage in the entrance lobby. Breakfast is better than in some comparable hotels. The fact that I tend to use it on most trips to Brussels means it must be fit for purpose (and I always look forward to a new bedroom and different quirky artwork each time).

I was very pleased with this hotel. Very good rate for quality and location of hotel, very close to Rogier tube which was handy. Would definitely consider again.

The service is one of the worst I have received. I arrived with a terrible headache and I had to have an aspirin at the hotel next to this (unbelieveable) They did not let me phone from my room to the outside... SERVICE = NO SERVICE. YOU ARE NOT A CUSTOMER, YOU ARE A USER OF THE HOTEL

The reception satff and the breakfast people were not very friendly. They didn't have any friendly attitude and were almost annoyed when asked for small services like a map etc.

maintenance is bad. for example.. 1 toilet fans are loose can be heard in adjoining rooms 2 radiator valves cannot be switched to off meaning rooms are too hot ...and energy is being wasted 3 bathroom ...plugs on sinks and baths dont always open and close this is exclusively a maintenence issue all else is very good

I stayed in two rooms, both were much smaller and less elegant than the hotel's website suggests. Carpets were cheap and stained. Receptionist completely uninterested when I found the batteries dead in my TV remote control - we don't have a technician, you can change your room tomorrow. So I changed my room, and next night found that the film channels were permanently blocked: same response, we don't have a technician. I won't stay there again.

Badly needs refurbishment of Tiles,Carpets,soft Furnishings etc -very grubby.Definately not a 3+ Star.Very Dissaapointing.Location Excellent.

Nice Decor, Small rooms, right next to the metro / City 2 shopping Great for a weekend break. Shower had traces of mildew on tiles.

At arrival the room was dirty. The toilet was filthy and had not been cleaned after the last guest. The blankets on the bed were scruffy. Floor was poorly vacumed.

This hotel is nicely placed, clean and comfortable. Personnel at restuarant - extremely helpful and service is great.
