There is some low level noise from the Railway in the rooms. The hotel is on the edge of the red-light area. The bar and room service was not available after 8.30pm on Sunday. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was good. Would go again. Appreciated BBC TV.

The room was comfortable, though could have been cleaner, and breakfast reasonable, however, I'm not sure why this hotel deserves four stars. Very convenient for Gare du Nord (less than five minutes walk), but single women may not feel so comfortable (as the hotel is located in the centre of the red light district).

A really friendly hotel, with exceptionally helpful staff. Conveniently located just by the Gare du Nord/Noordstation. The hotel is just to the south of the Red Light District, but it is easy to avoid. The surrounding area looks as though it is currently undergoing a renovation, with the bridges that you have to walk under to get to either Rogier or Nord metro stops having been cleaned and new shops being built. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The only downside, if you are not used to the noise, is its location next to the station. The trains can be heard entering and leaving the station, but you get used to the noise very quickly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Brussels.

I did get everything that I had expected chosen this hotel. And I did sleep for eight hours every night. Breakfast and service was creditable.

Very happy with my stay here. Staff very friendly and helpful, room much larger that normal for this price. Next to the railway station (good for access but you do hear the trains early in the morning if your room is at the front). I'll certainly stay here again.

Very nice hotel at excellent prices when booked online. Helpful staff. Nice and big rooms. 3 minutes walk from the North station and a short stroll (15 minutes) from “Grand Place” i.e. the Brussels centre. This was my second stay at the hotel and I expect to be back:-)

+ Near Gare du Nord train station (you can get everywhere from there); + One train stop (express train) to Airport - 10 minutes; + City center; + Very friendly staff; + Rue de Neueve (which is the central shopping route) is really close, the street also is a straight path to a great touristic object - Grand Place; ~ With windows closed train and traffic sounds are almost not heard; ~ Very close to the red light distinct (no problems actually), someone may like it ;)

Ideally situated next to North Station, and close to Rogier Metro station and to shopping centre. Room facilities quite good for the price. Slight problem with hot water in the bath/shower which had a habit of turning to cold, so had to be careful with the setting. Despite an advertised hot buffet breakfast, there were no hot items available at 9:00 am.

Excellent at this price.
