Centrally located, within walking distance of the center of the city or metro station. The staff was OK, as impersonal as any other big-tall-modern middle-of-the-road hotel...The hotel has its own underground parking, on a side street. It is a bit too expensive but the alternative is to find your own parking spot in the street: not an easy thing to do. The breakfast, included in the price of the room, was very good and with a large selection of good quality foods. Overall, it's an average-quality hotel for an average price. As they say, nothing to write home about...

Internet connection is critical in all hotels. The prices for WiFi access and "single connection per voucher" rates were exorbitant. Telephone did not work, and no outside calls could be made.

This was a great hotel for a cheap price. I paid 66 euros per night. It's about a ten minute walk to Grand Square. The breakfast was awesome. The rooms were spacious.

In the hotel listings, it was stated that this hotel was in or near the grand place, but was definitely NOT. It was about a 20-minute walk to grand place! I was very disappointed when I had to go around and around walking and looking for the hotel and had to make several calls to the hotel to ask for directions, thinking it was just around the block from grand place.

My husband and I stayed in Brussels for 3 nights at 66 euros a night (In January). We booked the morning we were to stay in Brussels, and as expected, the hotel did not have our reservation. However, it wasn't a problem since I brought my email confirmation. I had asked for a non-smoking room and was told that all rooms were nonsmoking. I wonder what the two astrays in our room were for? The room was a bit smoky, but not too bad. The room was clean with a big closet for travel gear. The bathroom was a decent size as long as you're in there by yourself. The price was even better considering breakfast was included. They had three cereals, milk, juice, plain yogurt, peaches, applesauce, rolls, bread, jams/nutella/honey, cheese, cold cuts, and what looked like three bowls of salads. There were also sausages (European style hotdogs), beans, pasta dish(?), and hard boiled eggs. You could also have an egg cooked in a lot of butter. Coffee and tea were served as well. The location was great. It only took about 10 minutes or so to walk to the main square, and about 15 to get to the main train station. We walked around and didn't bother getting the Brussels card. We didn't go to too many museums to get the benefit. We were able to buy a metro ticket for 6 euros for the both of us to travel for 1 day (a Brussels card costs about 20 per person). There were a lot of restaurants nearby and two large old churches. Don't eat at the Latin place around the corner that serves Argentinian steak. The don't know how to cook a steak. Finally, parking costs 15 euros per day and it's in a garage that is attached to the hotel. Very convenient. We also took a train to Antwerp. Round trip for the both of us only cost 13 euros. PS. Get good directions, this place was hard to find. We drove around forever and finally just headed straight for the city center. We asked an employee of another hotel for directions and then it was a cinch.

The location of this hotel is very good. Close to the Fishmarket, Grand Place and other points of interest. Rooms are OK, you get what you pay for. However, the service was terrible. Both at breakfast and at the reception. Actually I have never experienced such an impolite receptionist during any of my hundreds of hotel-stays. He managed to take much of the pleasure out of this otherwise enjoyable visit to Brussels. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Good stay. We were close to the "action," room was clean and quiet, price was fair, breakfast was plentiful, and I appreciated having International Herald Trib to read over breakfast. We thought the lobby was weird. What were those rows of benches about? In all, we thought an excellent choice.

Our hotel stay of 4 nights was fine as we had one of the larger rooms. At 56 Euro per night B&B the price was very reasonable compared to what we would pay elsewhere. The only drawback was that there is a nightclub across the street from the hotel. This was no problem for the first three nights but for Saturday night we were disturbed by the repetitive ethnic rap and drum beat rhythm from the club. Later at 5 a.m. we were amused by the very loud shouting from a group of men who then proceeded to slap one another around the place. This is something that the hotel needs to discuss with the nightclub or at least have a police van to detain these excitable drunks. I am sure that most hotel guests would have been disturbed by the scenes.
