The famous humanist thinker Anselmus Boetius De Boodt stayed here and inspired the property's name. One of Bruges' prettiest family hotels, the Anselmus is less than a 100 m (110 yards) from the city's main historical attractions. Centrally located, it is an ideal starting point for exploring.This hotel's 18 guestrooms are classically decorated with antique-styled furnishings. Nice family owned operated hotel. Owners gave us alternatives of restaurants and local attractions. breakfast room vey nice with a garden view. Our room was upgraded. We will return to The Anselmus on our next visit. Loved Brugge!

very handy location, in the very heart of Bruges, 100 mt from the Burg, 300 mt from the Markt and still quiet. This little hotel is a real jewel in its kind.
