This was the second visit for our family and we had another wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and helpful, the view of Boston from our room was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the health club, especially the pool! The proximity to the Museum of Science and the Duck Tours was a big draw for us. We'll return for a third visit in the future!

Swimming pool opened late. Great cocktails at the bar. Very helpful and polite staff. This was a very enjoyable experience.

Excellent welcome and able to use hotel from 7.30am after long flight from NZ Much appreciated Recommended Sited beside river and next to large shopping complex short walk to tube station

Very nice, clean hotel. Nice that it's on the river. Has a mall the opposite of the road with resturants.

During our stay, an alarm was sounded at 2:00am, and we were told to evacuate the building only if the alarm was sounding on our floor. Unfortunately, it was very hard to tell whether the alarm was on our floor or not, and to be safe we evacuated with all the other confused guests. After the fire dept. finished its walk-through, no one let any of us know whether it was safe to return to our rooms. In fact, when we walked through the lobby afterward, we didn't see any Sonesta employees at all, and were a little disturbed by it. I realize it was a unique circumstance, but I hope the hotel learned something from it, and in the future, that they will realize it might be helpful to reassure their patrons that is is safe to return to their rooms and that the matter has been resolved.

Excellent hotel with outstanding location - we had a 3rd floor room with a great view of the Charles River. The facilities - especially the pool and exercise facilities were excellent. This was my third stay in Boston, and will definitely choose when I return.

Access to downtown/harbour Boston reduced a bit by lack of Green line T subway to Lechmere (served by bus instead) - Aug 2005. Cambridge Galleria (with a few good restautants as well) just across the road is major plus as walking distance area is otherwise not well served with bars/restaurants. Added bonus of having booked a Cambridge side room and got given the better Boston view.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are lovely and bright and very clean. Reasonably priced as well.
