Front of house had attitude. Perhaps the female clerk at the time did not care for us having different surnames and sharing a room. We spoke in Spanish; however, the head clerk instructed the clerk who was serving us to speak to us in English, which we found curious. Perhaps it was because we had pre-paid, but we were not informed about the hotel facilities (some parts were closed for renovation), nor informed that room service did not understand English, nor offered a map of the city. Unfortunately, the otherwise exemplary condition of the room was marred by a dirty, smelling toilet.

Good location near Guggenheim; very helpful staff. I'd certainly use this hotel again and would recommend it to others.
