The Location is good, beautiful neighborhood near by the museums. The morning frontdesk employee has very bad manners, but the night employee was excellent. They ask you deposit for everything, including the plastic key of the rooms. The bathroom and the room were clean, but the carpet is very old and look dirty. Is expensive, but all the city was.

This is a pension than a hotel. It locates as one of the unit in a building with a rather dark entrance. The reception closed at 10:00pm and you'll need to bring 3 keys along to access the building, the floor and your room. The staff are friendly though the night reception does not speak English. The toilet and bath room is very small that towels are placed 2 inches next to the toilet bowl. If you don't mind the above, everything is fine. If you take bus 109 to reach the hotel (as the web instructed), get off at "Olivia Platz" stop, the driver has no idea where this pension is and can't help. If you want go shopping luxurious goods, this hotel is extremely convenient. All the branded goods (Hermes, LV, Gucci, Channels...) are just round the corner within 3 minutes walk.

Hotel-Maison Alte Galerie is NOT a hotel. it is a pension, and if you don't mind that, you will really enjoy your stay, as it is a nice clean place with comfortable bed delicious breakfast and kind people.

10 mns walks to Savigny Platz (SBahn station) Nice breakfast room, good breakfast Hotel completly refurbished, well decorated in an old time style, but very well done, as in the pictures in the website. only 8 rooms, you feel like at home.

Due to an internet/telephone access problem caused at the service provider's end the Hotel was using, I had to go to a bank and pay my bill in cash. It was a nuisance. Time loss at the end of the trip + a bit of burden on my bank account for I was not expecting to be made to pay at the spot. The area where the hotel was located was interesting - a bit old-fashioned, arty, lightly bohemian and self-important-ish. Nearby some restraunts were available, which was pleasing for my tired feet. A good place to base, especially for older couples who enjoy arty things. But not for active young people, really. In addition, the location is slightly inconvenient to get to main attractions of the city - areas such as Alexander Platz, Zoologischer Garten, Parliament, Brandenburg Tor, etc. - as you always have to change your transport mode at some junction.

The hotel is wonderfully classic, trendy andgreat value for money. In a perfect position in the city centre 30 seconds from Ku'damm. Excellent breakfast, and knowledgeable staff. You do need to speak German though!

A very comfortable spacious Hotel at an extremely good price. Very welcoming staff who provided a great breakfast. Our room was a very comfortable size (biggest we stayed in throughout our trip in Europe!). When we had to leave extra early on our final morning the staff were very accomodating. Thank you!
