A nice hotel providing an ideal base for exploring Berlin. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfasts with good variety. We paid a little more for a superior room - modern and spacious. All round great value for money.

Despite the request for a non-smoking room when booking, we were put in a strongly smoke smelling room. When we asked for a non-smoking room, the staff was unfriendly and not willing to help. The short answer was that no other rooms would be available in this category. If we wanted an other room we would have to pay extra. The gym an recreation area has poor facitlities and unfriendly staff. We had the impression of being traeted as low-class guests. As you know we are using Hotels Club at least for 25 nights per month and never faced an incident like in Hotel Berlin. Some hotels had rarely problems with the acceptance of the voucher for payment which is/was always settled quickly. Overall we are very happy with hotels club. SWA

The hotel offered a comfortable stay with an excellent breakfast included in the price. It was a little disappointing, however, that a double room does not in fact provide a proper double bed, merely 2 single beds placed together. Other than that - a very pleasant stay just 10mins on the bus to all the main tourist attractions.

This is a very good and reasonable hotel in the Diplomatic District. Very near to the Tiergarten and tourists can get the Tour Bus outside the hotel. Lots of choice in the buffet breakfast. Also close to tube stops. I would stay here again.

The standard rooms are very very small & there was just enough room between the bed and the desk to walk between them. The breakfast was very good with plenty to eat. If you looking for just somewhere to sleep then i would say that the standard room is value for money.

A very nice hotel. Everything was fine and me and my girlfriend enjoyed every minute at our stay. We will definately stay here the next time we visit Berlin.

Very friendly and efficient hotel. Staff could not be more helpful. Absolutely fabulous breakfast! The only drawback is the lack of air con in the rooms which can make it hard to sleep if very hot.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The current refurbishment work was not intrusive. The gym should have been open in the morning as well - I was too tired at the end of the day to use it!

Make sure that when you book you ask for an actual double bed if you require it otherwise they will give you two beds pushed together and wont change it as they only have a few rooms with double beds.
