Excellent value and location! Hotel is a bit stuck in the 80's in terms of design and room interior but helpful staff and best possible location make up for it. A single room was indeed a single bed, however room had all amenities needed, from a well-stocked mini bar to around 30 TV channels plus pay TV. Breakfast buffet was good as an inclusive breakfast, good range of cold items and breads, hot food was nothing to write home about, though. Restaurant Knese offered very good German tucker. Overall I definitely would come back when visiting Berlin.

Although outside temperature was 23 degrees Centigrade, in the rooms it was quite warm. Very good was the free of charge wireless internet facilities. Excellent place to visit the town. Parking facilities only costs 10 Euros a day.

Very well located convenient to Ku'damm, shops, restaurants, underground system. Staff helpful with good English. A bit more space would have been nice, but can't complain about the costs or anything else. Recommend to anyone.

Location was excellent, and also staff very helpful. Breakfast was one of the best during our travels through Germany and Croatia. Would stay there again.

Just yards from the Ku-damm and minutes from S-bahn and U-bahn stations, location is ideal. The rooms, while on the samll side are fine for a short stay. Breakfast was typical continental, plenty to eat and great choice. Staff were excellent, always ready to help.

We have stayed at the Plaza on at least ten occasions since 1991. We have always found the hotel excellent for all of your listed criteria, however, the main reason that we return again and again is because of the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff especially those in reception. Nothing is too much trouble. Also, as well as an excellent breakfast in the hotel there is an excellent restaurant attached to the hotel.

On arrival, they moved us to a hotel around the corner (The Imperial Hotel) that supposedly has more stars (in my opinion they both advertise with 3 stars), but is situated on a very busy street. We had to sleep with the windows open (no airco), but this did keep us awake. The berlin Plaze is situated on a very quiet street (which I especially looked for), so I was very disappointed. The rating is thus for the Imperial Hotel.

Excellent value for money. Very friendly staff. Literally only 1 minute walk from the Ku'damm and about 5 minutes from the nearest underground and S-Bahn station. Comfortable bar/restaurant ,the Knese, attached to hotel which also has very friendly staff. I have recommended the hotel to friends.
